What To Expect On Boot Camp

Each ‘Fitness Session’ on the timetable will vary in type and style and will incorporate different muscle groups using various gym and training equipment. If there is adverse or wet weather, sessions will be conducted in a suitable building close to the guesthouse.

The following is a loose overview of the activities you’ll enjoy on boot camp, although please be aware that we have deliberately built-in a degree of flexibility so that we can best serve the goals of the group.

Friday

14:00 onward – Arrival, meet and greet; Shown to accommodation; Light refreshments available

16:30 – 17:00 – Introductions from staff and each other; Full course brief; Safety and explanation of aims/achievements etc

17:00 onward – Evening meal

19:00 – 20:00 – Fitness 1: Warm up, light run, cool down

20:00 onward – Admin, rest, refreshments etc, sleep

Saturday

07:30 – 07:45 – Reveille, wake up wash etc, light energy/fruit snack and drink

08:00 – 09:00 – Fitness 2

09:15 onward – Shower

09:45 – 10:30 – Breakfast

11:00 – 12:00 – Fitness 3

12:30 – 13:30 – Lunch, Admin, Rest

14:30 – 15:30 – Fitness 4

15:45 – 16:00 – Snack/Drink, Admin, Rest

17:00 – 18:00 – Fitness 5

18:15 onward – Shower, Admin, Rest

19:30 onward – Evening meal and light social

Evening – Own time, Admin, Rest/Sleep etc

Sunday

08:00 – 08:45 – Reveille, wake up wash etc, light energy/fruit snack and drink

09:00 – 09:45 – Fitness 6

10:00 – 10:30 – Admin, Snack/Drink, Rest

10:45 – 11:30 – Brunch

12:00 – 13:30 – Fitness 7

14:00 onward – Shower, Admin, Snack/Drink
